BASICS

Burner Gas Control Line Equipment:

The group of devices that adjusts the necessary pressure and ensures safety in front of the devices that burn natural gas (burner, burner, etc.) are called the gas control lines. The equipment to be used in the gas control line varies depending on the capacity of the burner, the type and shape of the burner. Accordingly, the characteristics of the system should be taken into account when determining the equipment in the gas control line. The compatibility of the gas control line equipment with the combustion system is the responsibility of the burner manufacturer.

– Burner Valve: It is the ball valve used to provide gas on/off for service and safety purposes.
– Flexible Pipe (Compensator): It is the equipment used to weaken the transmission of vibration in the burner to the installation. It should be universal type.
– Gas Pressure Measuring Device (Manometer): It is the equipment used to measure the gas pressure on the line.
– Filter: It should be placed just in front of the first automatic regulator or gas pressure regulator to protect the gas control line equipment from pollution.                                                                            – Gas Pressure Regulator: It is the equipment that reduces the gas pressure at the gas control line inlet to the pressure required for the burner.
– Relief Valve (Safety relief valve): It is the equipment that protects the system against excessive pressure and prevents the regulator from being disabled by evacuating the excess gas from the system in case of instantaneous pressure rises.
– Minimum Gas Pressure Detection Device (Minimum Gas Pressure Pressure Switch): It is the equipment that ensures that the flow is interrupted by controlling the solenoid valve in case the gas pressure at the regulator outlet is below the normal operating pressure of the burner.
– Maximum Gas Pressure Detection Device (Maximum Gas Pressure Switch): It is the equipment that cuts the gas flow by commanding the solenoid valve in case the gas pressure at the regulator outlet exceeds the normal operating pressure of the burner.
– Automatic Shut-Off Valve (Solenoid Valve): It is the equipment that automatically cuts the gas flow in line with the signals it receives when the system needs to be disabled and ensures that the system is activated safely during the first operation.
– Leakage Control Device (Valve verification System): It is mandatory to be used in systems with a capacity of 1200 kW and above, and also in systems with hot oil, boiling water, low and high pressure steam regardless of their capacity.
– Fire Valve: It is recommended to be used.
