BASICS
Fire Pumps that offer high safety in the field of fire fighting, are produced with a high engineering understanding in accordance with the UL Listed and FM aproved standards of the USA and the EN 12845 and NFPA 20 standards of the European Union. Fire Pumps are used in schools, hospitals, municipalities, industrial facilities, residences, factories, shopping centers, restaurants.
End Suction Snail Body FI-FI System Pumps
They are horizontal type, single-stage, single-inlet centrifugal pumps with horizontal axis suction port, upper discharge port, closed impeller, volute body pumps.
Since its snail is symmetrical, it can be mounted to work in both directions. Because of this feature, it can also be connected to left hand rotation motors.
ENM impellers are of the double slope type. The impellers are dynamically balanced on the electronic balancing bench. The axial thrust is balanced by the rear wear ring and balance holes.
Pumps have a rigid shaft that can operate at different loads.
There is a water lubricated plain bearing inside the suction body.
AREAS OF USAGE
FI-FI (Fire Fighter) system in tugs
Fresh and sea water pumping on ships
In large fire extinguishing systems
In industrial and social facilities
End Suction Fire Pumps
They are single-stage and end-suction volute body centrifugal pumps.
Pump performances comply with NFPA standards.
Single inlet closed impeller is dynamically balanced against axial load with balancing holes and wear rings.
The pump and motor are connected by means of a flexible coupling and the unit is fixed on a common baseplate.
Pump maintenance is very easy and during maintenance operations, impeller, shaft and other rotating elements can be removed without removing the pump from the installation.
End Suction Fire Pumps
At fire extinguishing systems
In water supply and pressurization stations
Tank, container etc. in filling and unloading
Heating, cooling and air conditioning processes
In condensate pumping operations
Water circulation processes in swimming pools
Cleaning, irrigation processes
In industrial applications and public services
In the supply of clean water in shipping
End Suction Centrifugal Fire Pumps
• UL Listed / FM Approved pumps are single-stage, non-self-priming, end-suction centrifugal pumps.
• Pump flanges are designed according to ANSI / ASME B16.1 Class 250 norm.
• Pump performance tests meet the requirements of UL and FM standards.
• Single suction, closed impeller, dynamically balanced and balanced with wear rings at axial load.
• Shaft sealing is provided by soft packings.
• Elements such as bolts and setscrews that come into contact with the water inside the pump are made of corrosion-resistant material.
AREAS OF USAGE
In fire extinguishing systems;
• Hospitals
• Offices
• Airports
• Mills
• Schools
• Pharmaceutical Facilities
• Warehouses
• Industrial Facilities
Line Type Fire Pumps
They are single stage, vertical shaft, line type volute body centrifugal pumps.
Pump performances comply with NFPA standards.
The single-suction, closed impeller is dynamically balanced against axial load with balancing holes and wear rings.
Pump and motor connection is made by means of an adapter and using a special rigid coupling.
Since the pump can be separated from the installation in such a way that its body remains connected to the installation, maintenance and repair operations can be carried out easily.
According to the NFPA fire standard, shaft sealing is provided with soft packings.
The principle of part interchangeability is adopted as a basis for the design. Thus, the supply of spare parts has been accelerated.
It provides ease of direct starting with low electric motor powers.
