The bottom of the slide carriage is perforated to allow the burned gases from the burners or resistances located at the bottom of the furnace walls to pass under the charge. Furnace gases are directed towards the side wall of the furnace and towards the charge itself. Since the velocity of the burned gases is high, the contact velocity of the gases around the charge with its self is around 20 to 40 m/sec. In this way, homogeneous and fast heating is achieved.

Dilution option

Industrial chamber furnaces have a special technology to provide greater heating by convection. This technology provides additional air flow around the burners. This air will tend to slow down the heating rate to avoid too aggressive heat concentration on the surface of some parts and to avoid thermal problems in charging. This option is recommended to prevent cracks during heating in refractory materials with high humidity.
